AGM - Friday 3rd February, 7.15pm
The Committee warmly invites you to join us for our Annual General Meeting on Friday 3rd February at 7.15pm in Friends Meeting House, High Street, Stebbing CM6 3SE. Your support of this important club event would be greatly appreciated.
Our Chairman, Steve Davies, will be stepping down from his role this year. As a result, there will be vacancies on the committee from February and anyone wishing to get involved should come to the AGM when new members will be elected.
We hope to deal with all formalities within an hour and will then go to the White Hart pub for a drink. Please do join us.
Quiz Night - Saturday 11th March, 7pm
Come and join us for our annual fundraising quiz night at Stebbing Village Hall, Mill Lane, Stebbing CM6 3SL on Saturday 11th March at 7pm.
Tables of 8, licensed bar, supper, raffle, spot prizes.

Adult coaching
Jude will be starting her Monday intermediate / advanced adult coaching class next week from 8 - 9pm. If anyone is interested in joining this group, please contact Jude.
Team Managers' round-up of Essex Small Clubs League news
The Mixed 1 Team had three matches scheduled for December and January. Two were postponed and the other resulted in a loss against a strong opposition despite close scores. Overindulging during the festive period was to blame!
The Mixed 2 Team played one match which it lost and are currently fifth out of seven in their division.
All the Mens 1 Team matches have had to be rescheduled due to poor weather.
The Mens 2 Team played two matches (won one and lost one) and are currently third out of six in their division.
Although the Ladies 1 Team played no matches, it is currently fourth out of six in their division.
The Ladies 2 Team has played 2 matches against Henham and Thaxted. Both matches were close games but unfortunately the results didn't go our away.
The Girls U18 Team played their first match of the season this past weekend in very wet and cold conditions. Despite the grim weather, they remained positive and managed a very good win against a strong Haverhill team.
The Boys U14 Team start their matches in April.
Let's hope that the weather is good over the next few months and we can get to play all the remaining matches for this season.
Juniors
Congratulations to Leticia Douglas for successfully completing the LTA Level 1 Certificate in Coaching Tennis over the Christmas holiday. Leticia will be helping Jude with the juniors over the coming months to further develop her assistant coaching skills.
