Team Managers' round-up of Small Clubs League news

The Mixed 1 team had a very good winter season of tennis with some very hard fought matches. Although injury was a common theme, we still managed to produce a team for each match. Thank you to those players who stood in at the last minute and those who came along and supported. Hopefully the forthcoming season will be as exciting and players are fighting fit.

Having been relegated the previous year, both the Ladies 1 team and the Mixed 2 team have won most of their matches.  As the deadline for playing the matches is the end of April 2016, we will have to wait to see if they have won their division and will move up for next winter.

The Mens 2 team are currently in the middle of their division and should stay in that division for next winter.  One member (who shall remain nameless) did get confused between Henham and Hadham and turned up at the wrong venue!

Mid-week tennis?

If anyone is interested in playing regular, mid-week, informal tennis, please contact Nigel Warren on 01371 856321.
