Working Party
A Working Party will be held at the club from 9am on Sunday 9th October - some major hedge cutting is required! Volunteers are needed - please come along at 9am with rakes, hedge cutters, shears etc.
Whist Drive
Please join us! There is no need to have ever played Whist before - all rules will be explained for novices. This is always a very fun evening and you can enter either as an individual or as a pair. A delicious, homemade supper will be provided.
Date: Saturday 26th November at Friends Meeting House, High Street, Stebbing CM6 3SE
Time: From 7pm to 10.30pm approx. Licensed bar opens at 7pm.
Tickets: £15 pp
Dress: Smart / casual

Ladies Tennis
This winter the club will be entering a second ladies team into the Small Clubs League. Any ladies who are interested in playing should let Jude or Shady Townsend know.
Team Managers' round-up of Essex Small Clubs League news
Being great weather during September 2016, all the scheduled matches were played. The last match of the Summer for the Mixed 2 Team was won against Harlow. The Ladies Team played three matches losing to Stansted and Pleshey but managed a win against Standon & Puckeridge. The Mens 2 Team and Mixed 1 Team had no matches during September with their last matches of the Summer scheduled for October 2016.
The fixture meeting for arranging the Winter matches is on 17 October 2016. As a result of the matches played during the last Winter, the Ladies Team have been promoted to the Premier Division and the Mixed 2 Team have been promoted to Division One.
Juniors
During half term, Jude will be holding a one day camp on Monday 24th October. Please contact her to reserve a place.
Junior Club Night will continue to run on Fridays from 7pm. We encourage those interested in playing to join our WhatsApp group. Our Junior Captain, Piers, sends out regular messages on Friday mornings to check who is coming. Please text Piers on 07516671305 to join the group chat.
