Ladies Singles day

Yesterday we held the Ladies Singles Championship one day competition at the club. Despite the lunchtime rain, we were not deterred and 8 ladies enjoyed a great afternoon of singles matches, tea, cake and chat. It was really good to have some new faces participate in the competition and special thanks go to Jude who popped in and offered her support which was much appreciated.
The two winners of the day were Tracy Warren and Nicola Douglas. The rules are that any other lady member who was unable to play yesterday may challenge Tracy and Nicola between now and the finals day on Sunday 13th September. A challenge match would comprise a full best of 3 sets match. You may challenge either Tracy or Nicola or both.
Results of any challenge matches would be fed through to Erika for final decisions as to who qualifies for a in the final.
